Chasing March
Introduction
My I introduce myself? I am Chasing March. I am 32 years old. I have been riding for 26 years and consider myself an advanced rider. I am a male and I happen to find Claire LaCroix attractive.
Mirror Reflections
To start off with, Chasing is six foot tall, with a build that most men would like. He's slim, bones overlaid with muscles but he's not bulky. The above picture is from a misspent youth and he's no longer as cut as that would appear. He's almost starting to develop a tiny gut, but don't tell him that.
Chasing has dark black hair, with reddish highlights when the sun hits it. He wears it short, it fits under a helmet better and besides it makes his face stand out more. He has a forgetable face, if his eyes were any one other color you would forget him in a heart beat, but his eyes. They are a bright silvery blue and express more emotions than any highschool cheerleader ever could. Slanted upward and framed in dark black eyelashes, they are what everyone remembers. His nose is slightly crooked from having been broken by dealing with horses over the years. He has a very stubborn mouth and chin, meaning when he's feeling froggy he'll bite those lips and you can't budge him.
He can usually be found in sleeveless tees and black jeans, and his clothes will always be dirty. He just buys them dirty. Shoes, classic cowboy boots, as dirty and worn out as the jeans. Complete with a farmer's tan, freckles and a horse shoe tattoo in a place you won't ever see it, Chasing tries hard to not make a fashion statement.
Psychoanalyze Me
Convinced he's always right, attached to his horses, stubborn, romantic and just a down right good ol'boy are the words usually used to describe Chasing.
He is the consummate southern gentlemen; polite, domineering, and full of seduction. Secondly, Chasing is convinced his way is right and your way is wrong, of course you will get the oppurtunity to convince him your way works but don't count on him accepting it. As long as his methods work, he'll keep on trucking. Thirdly and perhaps his most endearing personality trait is his attachment to his horses. He knows them, hours of research into bloodlines, the personalities of sire and dam, the hours spent training, he learns his horses inside and out. And yes, he would take a bullet for his horses.
As stubborn as a mule, it has always been Chasing's way or the highway. He knows what he's talking about, been there done that, even got the t-shirt for it. And since he's convinced he's always right, he just prefers to stand on his morals. The romantic part goes with being a southern gentleman, he opens doors, buys flowers, writes poetry all that wonderful stuff you wouldn't think a woman wants but she does. It's why women in the riding business tolerate him so much. Just a good ol' boy means he's never met a person he didn't like and most people respond to that about him. He knows the local gossip, knows what is going done and people respect him on sight.

A Glimpse of Ages Past
Born to Wesly and Martha March, Chasing was the only child the two ever produced. Wesly, who is Thomas's son, did not want anything to do with horses and so moved himself to Atlanta where he met a rich debutant by the name of Martha Cannon. They were married after a suitable period of time, and after another such suitable time elapsed, Chasing was born. While Wesly was building his law firm, Martha was spending money, and Chasing was being raised by a nanny.
On Chasing's fifth birthday he was given a fat old Shetland pony from his grandfather. Immediately Chasing fell in love. Begging to stay with his grandfather for the summer, Martha became hysterical and protective, saying Chasing would fall off and break something, you can stay next year. So it was not until the following year that Chasing was allowed to go to the Hills.
During that summer and the following summers, Chasing learned to ride from the best. From his Shetland he was graduated to a Welsh, from the Welsh pony he was graduated to an Arabian. When Martha realized it was socially acceptable, and even encouraged, to have a horseman in a southern family, she made Wesly buy Chasing an Olympic quality horse. Thus enters Dancer into the picture.
At 20 Chasing moved to England with Dancer and began to show internationally, quickly moving up in the ranks. His father tried to control him by becoming his agent, booking photo shoots and even gaining sponsors for Chasing. When Thomas died, Chasing was heartbroken but his father tried to make Chasing keep competing. Chasing refused, took Dancer, and moved to Chasing Hills, which his grandfather had left to him, along with a very sizable amount of money.
A year later Cali came along. Chasing had always been interested in breeding horses for the competition world, and now that he has facilities, he has decided to do just that. Trading on his name and friends in the competition world, he has put out that his farm is now accepting riders. If you are going to breed competition horses, would it not be better to see what everyone is riding and winning on? So after two years of remodeling the barn, updating the wiring and fences, installing a cross-country course, Chasing Hills was finally opened.
Cali was put to sleep a few months later and Chasing left the farm in Claire’s control, fleeing to England to escape the pain. For two years he rode about Europe, winning several difficult shows and a few World Cup gold medals on Dancer and Oasis. He believed that his grieving was over and it was time to face the farm where is beloved stallion was buried. And where his beloved stallion’s daughter was waiting for him.
The second time around it was Claire who left him, though admittedly she had reasons to do so. Chasing was suitable upset about it and he sent Oasis and Dancer away, keeping only Saint and Legend. He gave up the world of competing for the world of training and has once more opened his farm up to students. He's got a new life, a new girlfriend, and new attitude.

Age: 4 Sex: Filly Height: 16.1H
Breed: German Warmblood/Westphalian Color: Cremello Discipline: Three Day

With her father's sense of flash and her mother's solid talent, Legend is promising to be a good show horse, may be better that her late Sire. At four years old Chasing is looking for an experienced rider to begin breaking his filly into the world of competition. One may wonder why Chasing himself won't do it.
Papered Information
Status: Active
Registered Name: Wretched Temptation Known As: Saint
Age: 10 Sex: Stallion Height: 16.3
Breed: Warmblood Color: Cremello Discipline: Three Day Event
Personality: So unlike his brother in temperment, Chasing wonders if they were even related. Saint is a laid back horse who has no obvious flair to his step. But in a show ring? He owns it. He's a flashy horse with a sense of style and timing. In his stall, well let's say I've seen snails with more personality. In two years Saint has come a long way in the show ring and at ten has matured into a well-mannered jumper. Since the horse is still unpredictable in the showring, Chasing has retired him and now uses him as his schooling horse.
