Chasing Hills
The Birthplace of Legends
The Birthplace of Legends
Chasing Hills. Home to the notorious Chasing March. Olympic Class equestrian, Model and Playboy extraordinaire he was responsible for putting the world of Three-Day Eventing into mainstream America. On his world famous horse Wretched Caliber, Chasing stunned the world with win after win. Days before the team was to go to Sydney, Australia to ride in the Olympics Chasing received a phone call that his grandfather, Thomas March was in the hospital.
Chasing immediately flew home disappointing countless fans. The day the Equestrian trials began was the day Thomas March passed away. After a vicious fight with his father, Chasing left the world of Three-Day Eventing to take up residence on his father’s farm, Chasing Hills. With over two million dollars in construction costs and renovations, Chasing turned his grandfather’s humble horse farm into a state of the art equestrian training center. Then he opened it up for students.
He then hired Claire LaCroix, a woman whose name was as famous in the equestrian world as Chasing’s, though she lacked his star qualities. She came to train and compete and she did both well. Chasing fell in love immediately. Then Chasing’s beloved horse Wretched Caliber developed cancer and within two months Chasing’s dreams of another Olympic try were dashed. With no word to anyone but his lawyer’s Chasing took two horses and fled to Europe with an old friend.
Two years were spent in Europe and shortly after the Beijing Olympics he returned home for good. He thought to compete again but found he had lost his love of the sport, it had been replaced with his love for Claire. They were engaged and everything was fine. Then Claire began to win, soon surpassing even Chasing’s record of wins. And while Chasing was fine with the situation, Claire wasn’t and they broke their engagement off.
Now a year later Chasing has reopened his riding school, ready now to accept students and riders. He’s retired from competitive riding for the time being, preferring instead to train his two horses Legend and Saint, and working on a budding relationship with his hometown’s veterinarian.
Chasing has an impressive resume as a trainer of both horses and riders. His riders compete nationally and are ranked among the best, while his horses are consistently ridden by top riders all around the world. He has more friends among Equestrian’s elite that can help students find horses and homes.
Chasing Hills has produced two Legends and has the ability to produce many more. Do you have what it takes to become a Legend or will you fall by the wayside and look on sadly? Chasing Hills IS the Birthplace of Legends.
