Introduction
May I introduce myself? I am Alex Riley. I am 18 years old. I have been riding for 6 years and consider myself a/an intermediate rider. I am a guy and I happen to find ladies attractive.
Mirror Reflections
Alex is a pretty normal guy. He’s fairly tall, at five foot eleven, but not a giant either. Years of soccer have contributed to his lean, athletic build, a physique that he carefully maintains. His hair, a dark chestnut shade of brown, has a tendency to fall out of place, and curls a bit in humid weather. It’s not too long, but he should probably cut it more often than he does. Alex’s eyes are greenish hazel, with deep brown flecks that are quite striking if you look at them closely. His face is really just a face, nothing particular about it, a mouth, two eyes, and a nose. He’s got a nice tan, though, thanks to all the time he spends outdoors.
Alex will usually be found in jeans or cargo pants, with an accompanying tee-shirt, often emblazoned with the name of some obscure band that no one’s ever heard of. He’s generally casually but tidily dressed, his hair might be a mess but he’s not sloppy with his clothes.
Psychoanalyze Me
Here’s a guy who likes to laugh. He can’t crack a decent joke to save his life, but he can definitely laugh at one, and is easy to get along with. Usually he’s outgoing, though he can be surprisingly shy at times, but he’s almost never awkward. Not much bothers him, he takes everything in stride and doesn’t get too worked up about the small stuff. Alex can be quite competitive, and while he used to take out his determined drive on the soccer field, he is now focusing on the world of horse showing instead. He has a very strict set of morals, and if you ever have the misfortune to see him angry, it’s probably because someone did something he thought was wrong. Generally, though, he’s quick to smile and eager to cheer someone up.

A Glimpse of Ages Past
Alex’s father, Greg, was a contractor who fell in love with a bright young woman named Madeleine. After just a few months of dating, he proposed to his Kansas girl, and they were married shortly thereafter. Within a year, Alex was born, and though more than a few people raised their eyebrows at the rapid progression of their relationship, the couple was happy as can be. Greg was often transferred to new building projects, generally requiring a move, and Madeleine followed him faithfully all across the lower 48. In time, their family grew: first Kelly, then Grant, two and four years after Alex respectively. Alex never minded moving, seeing as it was all he ever knew; but once, they settled down for an entire two years, in Arizona. Here Kelly picked up horseback riding, and though Alex first considered it a sissy pastime and focused intensely on his beloved soccer, she eventually managed to drag him off to the stables. And from that day on, he was hooked. At first, he spent more time playing on various soccer teams, with new tryouts every time they moved, but gradually he spent less time on the field and more time in the barn, and started taking lessons in the group below Kelly’s. Grant, unfortunately, was never interested, and probably never will be. He was more attracted to music.
Alex went through twelve schools in eight states before Madeleine had had enough. She filed for divorce, and took the kids to Georgia, this time planning to keep it permanent. Her love for Greg had cooled as his attention shifted from her to his work. By this point, Kelly had reduced her riding to a minimum level in order to focus on her dream of becoming a lawyer, but Alex had developed a passion for horses, and immediately started the hunt for a place to ride. And the Hills is what he found.

Registered Name: Zodiac Star Signs Known As: Zodiac
Age: 11 years Sex: gelding Height: 15.3 hh
Breed: Pinto Sport Horse Color: Bay and white pinto Discipline: Eventing
Personality: Zodiac is just a big doofus, playful and full of mischief. Showing off over jumps is something he loves, but you have to work hard to make him pay attention in dressage. On his lazy days, he can be impossible to work with; Zodiac is quite stubborn, and you can’t force him to move if he doesn’t want to. However, when he’s all fired up and ready to go, good luck stopping him. More than one unsuspecting rider has fallen off this horse, but it’s not because he’s mean- he isn’t, rather he’s a big old teddy bear who loves attention. He just tends to forget there’s someone sitting on him, and that they might want to stay on.
